I almost called him Jamie when I saw my new 'daddy' working like that, thinking that he already slipped in without me knowing. But he wasn't! My 'daddy' actually worked just in underwear bye his own!

I was getting frustrated with Sydney's situation. But i listened to episode 15 just now and i realized that i also really identify with him. It felt weird having compassion for myself ... but also hearing my worst fears for how i affect other people be voiced like that. I guess art does that.

The text very explicitlt juxtaposes the needs of Sydney, both past and present, against the needs of the kids at camp. No one's really in the wrong? it's just cruel, and heartbreaking.
