I will cry and riot if it will look like this the whole weekend bcoz if we lose our inagural "Women flying in Planica" day due to the weather, I'm just gonna end it all actually
aaaah god damn it 😖 bambi has been plagued by misfortune in planica this year
(while i was watching team comp's re-run at 6 a.m.): here i was worrying that after the crash bambi might even not be here. meanwhile that gutsy little devil is back on the hill like nothing happened & delivers solid flights, lands safely, austria wins. this kid's mental game is to be envied.
power + precision + perfection = ren nikkaido flying
what did I say about landing on the right? 🙈 why is he like that? 😅
i guess hanging in a wind tunnel longer than anyone else really pays off. who else would be able to balance that wobbling, not fall and somehow end up landing on 232.5 m?
Longest flight in the test round today in Planica was 232m by Jaka Drinovec
And there was one crash from Nik Heberle, he slid down to the outrun unconscious, but was already consious when the medical team brought him to the hospital and he's had a CT scan of his head and spine done and there's no major injuries for him luckily
