Gaara seems to overpower Sasuke when Naruto jumps in along with Sakura. Sasuke isn't pleased with this, especially since he lost the entire family. He does not want to lose his only friends. Naruto signed his clones and with his signature Uzumaki barage sent Gaara flying. Sasuke admitted to himself that Naruto sometimes scares him; that the power inside him makes him get stronger very quickly.
