Hello lovely! I was wondering if you knew any scorbus fics where they're both in slytherin and have been friends the whole time and they're both kinda pining for each other and then they finally get together?! THANK YOU SO MUCH <3

So I’ve read fics where they’ve been friends the entire time, fics where they’re pining for each other, and ones where they’re both in Slytherin, but I don’t think I’ve ever read one with all three? 

This is almost identical to my other rec list, but I split it up for you :)

Friends the Entire Time + Pining

The Slytherin Hufflepuff (Cheryl Dyson, 37k): They meet before Hogwarts and become best friends, and plot to get sorted into the same house (Hufflepuff). They’re very adorable and sweet here, and you watch them grow up and deal with their lusty feels. Plus there’s an accompanying Drarry fic, so wins all around.

Irradiance (Melusinahp, 48k): Al’s in Gryffindor & Scorpius is a brilliant, socially awkward Ravenclaw. They become friends early on, and they help guide each other through some pretty intense shit. It’s lovely & heartbreaking.

Difficulties of Being (Lomonaaeren, 19k): Gryffindor Al, Slytherin Scorpius. They become friends first year, and they bond over wanting to step out from their fathers’ shadows. And with bonus Drarry!

Both in Slytherin 

Must Have Done Something Right (MissPronounced, 202k): This one is by far my favorite. They never really spoke before their sixth year because Al is a Quidditch star and Scorpius is very shy and bookish. Al can’t stand how his friends bully Scorpius so he starts standing up to them & befriending Scorpius. The development of their relationship is beyond gorgeous. Lots of pining and angst and boys being confused that they want to kiss other boys.

The Unicorn Incident (who_la_hoop, 18k): They’re really obnoxious to each other in this one, because, of course, they secretly want to shag. It’s hilarious and really hot.

Better than You (mysecretashes, 36.5k): They’ve always bickered like mad, and eventually it gets so bad that they’re punished by being given a private room. Let’s just say it doesn’t really end up being a punishment.

Penitence (Cheryl Dyson, 30.5k): They bitch & snark & plot against each other. So much fun!

27snowflakes, drarryking, mangoapplepie you guys are so amazing and have been so wonderful to me with all my hardships. Thank you for being lovely amazing best friends. Some of the best I have ever known. And diydrarry, you are my soulmate, my souls other half. What would I do without you. Thank you for being in my life and reminding me what it felt to have a best friend again. Curse the gods for having us so far apart, but the soul knows no distance. I am blessed to have you.
