to say hi to her that day in the hall, to transfer away from smith, to yell back at my dad

respected historian and author

shockingly, baby videos/old toys/old trinkets and mementos from childhood/teenhood

to think, to question, to analyze, to provide unconditional empathy compassion and understanding to everyone, to crave approval from authority figures, to crave approval from people i see as smarter than myself, and a whole host of emotionally unhealthy practices and beliefs that i’m still working through
13. What’s the best gift you’ve ever given?
for a couple years in a row i’ve gotten my mom jewelry that she’s adored. i also once wrote a poem for someone’s birthday that i’m still proud of like five years later

if the pool is all people my age worldwide, then i’d likely statistically have one of the highest qualities of life/most freedoms, lol

playing the piano and singing probably

jesus, uh.... probably actual burning? i /hate/ how burns feel. also tight claustrophobic spaces and nauseating smells

the first song i ever wrote, when i was a 10 (?) year old first experimenting with composition. “i just need to say one thing before you leave me/that it’s not really like you’re leaving me at all/it’s like a piece of me is disappearing/life a leaf from a tree in the fall.” brings me back to when i could create without having to battle waves of doubt lol

other people embarrassing themselves, memories of when i embarrassed myself

vacations on martha’s vineyard as a little girl, playing with my sister as a little girl, summer days with her
