Hello friends,
Way back when I was 12 or something I watched 28 Days Later, and I hated it, because I was 12… then… like 18 years later I visited the movie again, as a film lover, as an adult, and as a poet… and it completely changed my life.
I love horror, always have. I like being uneasy in the controlled environment of a film. I like exploring the things that scare me, I find monsters exciting, and I love to examine the worst of it. That’s why when I watched 28 Days Later again, grown up and ready to look at more than just blood and guts, I knew I had found something special.
After a movie night with my friends I decided I wasn’t ever going to be done talking about that movie, and with endless encouragement from my friends With Endless Love was born.
Over the past several months I wrote this short collection of 28 Poems about 28 Days Later, and now it is here and it’s ready to share with the world.
With a beautiful cover by @jinx-aesthel and the fantastic editing and formatting work of @thotpuppy this book is my pride and joy. Every time I sit with it, look at it, share it with somebody else, I feel so much pride in knowing I did it.
I did it.
