I don’t think any other villain comes close to having as tragic as a backstory as Vanitas boy. All he wanted was something good, something nice. To be whole, to have a light to call his own. Being able to know all the good things Ventus had but never being able to have them for himself, slowly tearing himself apart in order to try to get stronger. Constantly in torment and constantly in unrest unable to be a person. Tormented by a master who never thought of him as a human.

I would wax poetry about the opening songs and the credits and the main themes like Sanctuary and Simple and Clean and all that jazz
They make me cry.
But nothing. Nothing gets my blood pumping like this theme. Be it remixed, original or Destati-fied. It's so good, makes me want to beat up bad guys and launch copious amounts of fireworks and magic. It embodies what I felt when I first played this series.
The pure child like awe I felt and adventure that awaited me. The charm and wonder.

Because I love sokai with all of my heart. These two scenes from 1 plus "you're home" from 2 make me bawl.

Day Twenty-One (Wayfinder Trio): Make a Wayfinder. You can use anything so long as it is star-shaped and has a core
Day Twenty-Two (Black-Coat Trio): Make Sea Salt Ice Cream
Day Twenty-Three (Destiny Island Trio): Make a keyblade. Any existing or your own. Write it, draw it, MAKE IT. Paper mache or even metal you crazy somebody and good luck.
Day Twenty-Four (Light and Darkness): Favorite music? Can be original, remastered, or something from Project Destati or any rendition. Gush about it and blast it on your stereo or any music player you know you can annoy your friends with.
Day Twenty-Five (Gummi Ship): Show off any fabulous Kingdom hearts merch you have on the internet. Strut it or make cool scenes with your action figures. If you don’t have any well, show off that Wayfinder or keyblade you made. Or make even more! Make a SHRINE!

Favorite Ship and favorite crack ship
I love Sokai. Young boy goes off and tries to save precious girl, and then proceeds to stab himself to save her despite of knowing he may never see her again. Find her in deepest darkness.
She gives him charm and stays to be his light.
Yeah, its sappy, corny and need a bit more development but I enjoy nice things.
My favorite crackship, however, is a bit not like sokai. I always thought it interesting that Vanitas thought of Aqua as a backup plan to fuse with. It's interesting and sets up a lot of promise and dynamic between two very different characters who share a lot of similarities.
Both were the smart ones and talented. But we're left alone.
Personal theory is that Vanitas wanted to fuse with her, not only because he despised Ventus, but also that the two of them would be strong enough to defeat Xehanort.
That is just me though,

Day Two (Soldier)I always pick sword. Call me boring but I like to button mash. Aqua is the best playstyle though. And love it or hate it, I really dig Anti Form. If not from the awesome movements then from the sheer implication of what it meant for Sora
