Lewis after sprint qualifying P7 in Qatar | 29.11.24

“[This was] Same as every other qualifying; not that great.”

What were the challenges? “I’m just slow. Same every weekend. The car felt relatively decent, no issues, not really much more to say…”

“The long run didn’t feel too bad but when you’re always back where I am it makes it almost impossible to be competing for wins. But that’s the sprint. I’ll do what I can tomorrow. 

Positive that you can reset tomorrow? “The positive is that the car is fast, George should be able to shoot for pole tomorrow.”

We know this can’t be a YOU thing.  “Who knows… I’m definitely not fast anymore.”
