𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 has made a personal donation to Ted Haslam's fundraising campaign for Molly Olly's charity which which donated play equipment to Ted while he was being treated in hospital.
Ted Haslam, an 11-year-old wheelchair user took on the challenge to climb three highest peaks in the UK in under 30 hours with help from his father and other friends to help raise funds for the charity.
The Princess met Ted and his supporters during her trek of Ben Nevis in Scotland as part of the Three Peaks Challenge.
In a message under the name 'Catherine Wales', she wrote :
❝ One of the real highlights of the Three Peaks Challenge was meeting inspiring people like you along the way. Huge congratulations to the entire team for raising money for such a wonderful cause.
