The way they can be... pretty. Beautiful. When someone says it to them it's a compliment. When they tell him, it's a taunt.

Just another insult they can throw against him.

So he hates them for it. For being allowed to be pretty and comfortable with it.

So he fucks them.

And leaves them.

Leaves them in tears and insecure like he felt every time he looked in a mirror.

Good looks are a blessing, ain't they?

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟒. In America, Lena left Chicago and went to Boston until Sunday 2nd June.

𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟓. Tony Venner took out an advertisement in The Stage following his tour of South Africa supporting Lena.

𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟕. The Sunday Mirror had “You’re Never To Old” as it’s pick of the day for Wednesday 1st June.

𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟎. The Stage reported on plans to increase audience numbers at The Pavilion theatre, Glasgow, with Billy Connolly (The Big Yin), and Lena (The Wee Yin) already booked, probably because they were both guaranteed to fill a Scottish theatre.

𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟎. Lena sang “Jump Down Jimmy” on Top Of The Pops, BBC 1 7.25 pm. In “Feeling Like A Number One” by Steve Binnie, the song got a lousy review.

This show was a "Last" to counteract Lena's many firsts;

It was the Last Top Of The Pops for two months because of a musician's strike;

She was the last artiste to be accompanied by the Top Of The Pops Orchestra before they were sacked.

The audience was the last to just stand around and watch the acts, in future they had to join in and be happy, animated and dressed to impress.

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟏. The Wishaw Press carried an advert for the Kelvin Centre, Glasgow. Lena was to be doing her cabaret show on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June, though because of heavy booking she might have ended up doing three nights.

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟐. An Aberdeen Evening Express reader wrote in to say what a refreshing change "Lena" was from the seemingly endless sport.

Highlights of today’s writing:

Okay so. I know, I know I was like I got 2 days and stuff!! Plenty of time to work on it!! But I also I know myself and of course, when I do have time to work on fics and the lot, I don’t. I make excuses instead! Like! Oh, my laptop! Don’t have it! Can’t work on it!

As if I don’t write on my phone 24/7 and sometimes do it on my laptop.

So anyways, here is me in the last 3hrs of the day scrambling to finish something on rarepair work pieces and trying to miraculously manage it! (And ending up failing, as per usual, as I work on other stuff)

—+848 words to yoo^2 wip. Amazing what I can do when there’s a deadline breathing down my neck, huh. This was so fun to write. It didn’t go quite what I was imagining when I was first writing, which was a more generic comedic misunderstanding thing, lol. But! This also works, maybe even so, and aaa I love!! Though I am terrible with describing clothes, oh dear.

—+20 words to the sanghee crangst wip. it’s so, so awful. I mean. I don’t hate it, but also, urghhhhh. I might need to rewrite it........

—+115 to the yma&yjh wip. I saw someone post a brilliant, so good im filled with feels snippet on orvcord, and I remembered this existed, so. I worked on it. And ooo the idea is becoming more concrete. It’s painfullll as per usual. Actually don’t know what I am going to do with the Idea though. What’s the plan from here?? No idea.

—Edited the yjh regression stuff wip! Urgh. So I ruined the beginning part before and I’m trying to fix it..... Also completely lost on how to continue it sigh.
