Two America's...

If we examine for a moment the Republican rhetoric that we should only be concerned with "JOBS, JOBS, JOBS and JOBS" then anyone with any bit of intelligence would accept that idea, but the Republican Congress has instead been focused on only passing anti-abortion legislation and reaffirming that "we are a nation under god". It seems that the rhetoric doesn't match and the Republicans "aren't putting their money where there mouth is."The dismissal of Obama's American Jobs Act is really the "meat" of this idea that they really are not serious about putting America back to work. And the more examples that start to pile up, the more I'm inclined to believe that Republicans are actually out to make sure the economy stays in disarray.

Yet, the mainstream media ( NBC, CBS, ABC etc) has chosen not to pursue stories that highlight the fact that it is one party that is preventing action from being taken in the economy. The problem is that most Americans have a general disdain from politics after the Water Gate scandal and they feel like this is the way politics works. And that it is both sides that are involved in the political maneuvering. This is the fault of liberals that have been unable to mount a successful attempt to shed light on this American injustice to the citizenry. They instead have been portrayed as "whiners, and weak" and their credibility questioned  in a "boy who cried wolf" way. (Yet, the facts are there to support their claims at the national and state level). I really wish the "Left" was able to mount a successful offensive the right, who always seem to the on the offense..and we know that a good offense wins a war. Compromise is not an option for the radical Fringe led Republican party...and the "Left" better arm themselves...
