I wanted to challenge myself and I did well. So proud of the final result. I watched a lot of different artists to understand how to do this. Vfx are harder then I expected. Still need to learn a lot of things but this is a great achievement! 💪💪

This could also be a scene on my fan comic, where Emmrich cast a protective barrier. 😉

Just a little starlight abduction….

This has been in the works since January. Well technically the spaceship was a doodle I found in my school supplies and then used up some of my leftover animation paper for the original physical version. I’ve now put this together on my phone. I used iMovie for the sound effects and the art was done in both sketchbook and FlipaClip with uhhh my fingers somehow (?!) animating on my phone was NOT on my bingo card of the year, but there you have it! This one is my favorite so far I think.

This will be a repost from Insta cause I want to upload more art on here. So this will be an art dump from my time at college/university. So with that context, here we go.

As I have now wrapped up at DigiPen, I figured I’d show y’all some of the work I did through all of my junior year through the spring and fall semesters, minus the film stuff (because it’s running through festivals at the moment), and the VFX stuff I did in Unity.

The first one isn’t really a style I that would usually draw in and it’s a bit wonky because of that, though I love Bronwyn to bits and I want to re draw her at some point.

But that does lead me to why I’m posting all of these now. I wanted to show the progression of my work to where I’m at now, even if these aren’t the most most amazing pieces ever.

Plus doing these helped me to become a better artist and to try more to get to where I am now. And there will more to come. Enjoy!
