(OPEN) So after taking time to figure out details, I am ready to announce that I am finally going to start doing commissions!!! For now, it’ll just be digital paintings. For the types of paintings I’m doing you can find the info in this post.

It’s probably not the best formatting (you can probably tell that graphic design is not my passion nor my speciality. That and I don’t know what my brand is at this point). So the formatting will hopefully improve in the future as I do this.

It is my first time doing this so please be extra patient with me as I figure this out. Like I said in the terms of service, I’m only going to do the first 4 people to request a commission. So please, don’t be too upset if you aren’t able to request one after all the slots are filled. There’s always a chance for a future commission.

If you can’t afford a commission but still want to financially support me, you can always go to my Kofi to tip me. That or buy something from my shops. Both of which are in the Linktree in my bio or pinned (depending on where you see this post). Don’t worry too much if you don’t have much money to spare right now. I appreciate any support I get including sharing my art or posts!

Racism in fandom spaces is actually insanely bad and if you ever try to downplay or avoid conversations about it because "fandom is supposed to be fun" then I'm not sorry to say this: You're adding on to the problem.

Hello everyone! I’m making this post in order to bring awareness of certain situation that has been going on regarding accounts who get verified and the rules set by the accounts who verify them.

Unfortunately there has been points where verified blogs are breaking the vetters rules in order to get more attention towards their fundraising campaigns. These rules exist for a reason: To ensure trust isn’t compromised towards the accounts who take time out of their day to ensure all fundraising accounts are legitimate. These rules were established to ensure that the verifier is not doubted or questioned and to make sure verified blogs don’t cause too much of a problem. As long as they followed the rules they would be getting attention fairly and not disrupting everyone else.

Sadly there has been cases now of accounts disregarding the rules of these verifiers in order to get attention in unfair ways.

Now we’ve seen one case of a verified blog getting their verified status revoked due to disruptive behavior and potentially harmful actions towards those they messaged seeking attention towards their campaign. This blog also has been caught once claiming to be verified once even when a look on a list would say otherwise. I will not mention the blog; This post is just a warning. A warning I’m making on behalf of someone else who said I could make this post.

A stern warning.

If you are a verified Palestinian fundraiser account please stop breaking the rules and guidelines set by the verifiers. Disruptive behavior helps no one it just causes a massive amount of problems for everyone else. Continue to break the rules set by those verifiers and they may revoke your verification due to it.

This post isn’t to call anyone out or call someone a scammer. But sadly it needed to be made as even vetters have made similiar yet were not listened to. So I decided to make one too.

Important Notice from the Gaza Vetters Verification Team

Unfortunately, we have observed that some campaign owners have begun resorting to unethical methods to attract donations.

These actions not only harm the credibility of the individuals involved, but they also negatively affect other campaigners who are genuinely suffering and in need of real compassion. Moreover, such behavior causes trouble for bloggers and others—whether through harassment, manipulation, or misuse of other people’s content.

For this reason, we are issuing this third warning:

The Gaza Vetters team imposes clear rules and conditions for any campaign to remain listed on our verification list. We actively monitor compliance and apply penalties to those who violate these rules.

We strongly urge donors and anyone helping to promote fundraising posts to do the following before donating or sharing:

Confirm that the campaign is listed in our official verification list.

Check the status column to ensure there are no violations or warnings attached to the campaign.

We have received reports of individuals falsely claiming they are still verified, sharing outdated or edited screenshots, or using previously assigned verification numbers even after their status has changed or been revoked.

While every person listed has been verified as someone genuinely living in Gaza and affected by the war, that does not mean they are immune to misconduct. Violations can and do lead to consequences, including removal from the list.

Please always refer to our official list via our page and the link in our pinned post, and make sure you are viewing the authentic version—not a manipulated or impersonated copy.

وردتنا شكاوى تفيد بأن بعض أصحاب الحملات يزعمون أنهم ما زالوا في القائمة أو يستخدمون رقم تحقق وصورة قديمة لم تعد تعكس وضعهم الحقيقي بعد تغيير الحالة الخاصة بهم.

نؤكد أن كل شخص في قائمتنا هو شخص تم التحقق من هويته ويعيش في غزة ويعاني فعلًا من آثار الحرب. لكن هذا لا يمنع إمكانية ارتكابهم مخالفات، وهو ما قد يؤدي إلى إنزال عقوبات بحقهم وإزالتهم من القائمة.

لذا نرجو منكم دائمًا متابعة قائمتنا الرسمية عبر صفحتنا، من خلال الرابط الموجود في المنشور المثبت، والتأكد من أنها القائمة الأصلية الموثوقة، وليس نسخة معدلة أو منتحلة.

Please bare in mind that it is what @kyra45 stated at the end of her post that makes this so important and is the reason I'm sharing this.

Even though fundraiser blogs may be gaslighting, spamming, harassing, ectect people in comments, asks, DM's, so on and so forth, that still does not, in any capacity, make them scams.

If you do not trust them, then just don't engage with them.

It's that simple. Block the anon asks, block the person they linked in it, block the person in your DM's, and just move on.

Do not be a malicious, hateful, and spiteful person that harasses, makes call out posts saying "this is obviously a scam for xyz reason!", or be someone who tries to do harm to mutual aid related blogs just for the sake of doing so.

That's all I (and anyone with a decent heart I'd hope) can ask.

That does not mean, however, that if they are spamming your asks or your username in comments, gaslighting, threatening, harassing, or accusing you of things you didn't do in DM's, so on and so forth, that you shouldn't report them to the people who vetted them, because you 100% should.

You should report them to @gazavetters. And depending on the amount of spam or the level of harassment, report it to Tumblr as well.

Rules are rules. No matter who you are or your situation.

If someone told you once not to break them, there's no reason you shouldn't be cleaning up your act and stopping.

Final thoughts:

Please don't let people on the internet guilt trip you for money and make you feel guilty or like a bad person in a way that makes you seem as if you're some how responsible for someones misfortune or injury if you don't donate money right that instant.

No means no. "I can't donate, sorry." still means no.

If people can't accept no for an answer once?

If they still pester you in DM's or say that if you don't donate you are some how responsible for someone dying or going hungry?

Screenshot the conversation, report it to GazaVetters (or whomever they're vetted by), then block them.

If you wouldn't tolerate that kind of thing in person by someone on the street, don't tolerate it on the internet, either.

Remember: trust your gut and be the better person.
