apostate is absolutely abnormal about calling harmonia and atlas that but he never tells them he just says it, reverently, carefully, as if that’s enough to make it alright, to make this crime alright, blasphemes stealing the names of god and the prophet, do they know? have they exacted this on purpose? they certainly talk about them with enough bitterness for it. could he change them, would they concede, would he ruin it, for knowing, for Seeing? would they leave him? he can’t say it, his mouth refuses to form the words, he just thinks it. god and the prophet. at night he lays awake hoping whole forgives him for this mistake and knowing He doesn’t, or at least, shouldn’t. tilting into their kindness and hating himself for it.
