So. now it’s time to practice doing some water. I used the water splash example from the book Elemental Magic book by Joseph Gilland. I’m not 100% happy with the end result but it’s good enough. I’ve been trying to improve my FX animation skills in my free time. it’s been fun.

2nd pass with outline and fill inside! The character was made in Photoshop so he's bones was a raster drawings and I didn't want to change that. In order to make it work I created a simple rig based on deformers where I split each limbs, head and tail of the character in the separate layers. In this configuration I was able to create base for the outline animation just attached to these deformers and I started animating those layers in drawing view. On the camera view I had extra animation made by deformation and pegs. I cant say how insanely bad was that idea and how complicated my node view looked like when I started splitting everything, cutting unwanted lines and fixing tiny details in the connections of each layers. I was super tired of that and that took a way more time than I expected... I sent it to @yannouchka who designed this character and he was happy about the results. I was ready to let it go, but his excitement made me to push that animation a way more into the ridiculous details of his original design... Done using @toonboomanimation Check 21days trial! 👊 STAY AWESOME 👊
