her clothes were at the point of no return. ripped apart with the bows hanging off of the seam, it was literally hanging on a single piece of thread. hyejung’s trudging through the wet weather, knowing that soon enough she would be sick from the lack of warmth she received. nothing was warm nowadays. the sun would shine but the wind would blow over and clouds would come and cover the main attraction. the clouds would cry, hyejung would feel its tears upon her cheeks as her own tears fall down. crumbling, aching, hurt. hyejung wanted to feel like she was okay, she wanted to give up the bad girl act. the bad girl act was planned through carefully. most of the time she was winging it-- but she planned on how her personality was. ever since her father had thrown her away as if she was getting fed to the dogs, she’s built up a wall that no one is supposed to knock down.
though she never told herself that she couldn’t tear it apart by herself. that’s what she wanted to do. it was tiring to get in fights all the time. her jaw would hurt from gritting her teeth and she would receive headaches from rolling her eyes too much. the energy had been drained out of her, the only thing left that she had was stable was her memory. turn left. turn right, go straight an’ it’s the fourth house down. she needed hyejung. she needed someone that made her feel secure, she needed someone who didn’t treat her like the piece of shit she really was. someone who could mend her back together either with krazy glue or some time, she just needed someone that was other than herself.
hyesun was just like that. she was the glue that held her-- held them apart. although hyejung couldn’t really stand hyesun at first, she wasn’t really expecting someone like her to become one of her closest friends. her eyes slip to a close once she’s brought in. finally. comfort. hyejung could feel a black eye forming once hyesun ran over it with a wet cloth, causing hyejung to wince and jerk back. it’s only temporary. the pain was temporary and the wound was temporary-- unless it would leave some permanent scars that would add onto the list of scars hyejung owned. too tired to talk, she just sighs. her head falls forward and is caught by the other’s bosom. her eyelids slip to a close and she knocks out right then and there.
