This time of night, or when I’m just alone, my mind is completely vunerable. I begin to crave intimacy, and I miss all of that. From a goodnigh text, to sexual intimacy. I really really need stop being by myself so often.

Gadge- "It’s 3 am and you’re blasting off classic rock at full volume and your music taste might be awesome but SOME PEOPLE are trying to SLEEP"
Madge rolled over in her bed tossing the pillow that had been pressed against her ear off the wall the ran between her neighbor Gale’s room and her own. She honestly hadn’t been too bothered with the blaring ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Queen, and Kansas mix that Gale started shortly after getting home, in fact it allowed gave her music to dance to while cooking her dinner. It even wasn’t that bad at 9 pm as she was getting ready for bed, but by 3 am she was ready for it to stop because apparently unlike Gale she needed sleep. She had meant him a few times in the hallway leading to their apartments, and he had also introduced himself as he saw her moving in, he didn’t seem like the kind of person that would be blaring music at 3 am, and she didn't just think that because she happened to notice how good looking he was. He had honestly come across as a kind and caring person. She sighed staring at the wall her pillow had just silently bounced off of, she knew she had to take action to get it to stop, it's not like laying in bed and tossing and turning would cause him to turn off his obscenely loud, good but loud, music. She pulled herself out from under her covers, and pulled on her slippers before stalking out of her bedroom and through her apartment to the source of her music next door. She stopped staring at the numbers on his door before raising her fist and knocking hopefully loud enough for him to hear over his music. She crossed her arms hearing a small crash from behind the door and the footsteps head towards where she waited, impatiently, in the hall. The door flew open in front of her to reveal Gale standing before her in only plaid pajama pants, and with a serious case of bedhead. “How may I help you? I am assuming it's important considering the time.” She not only saw but felt his eyes sweep up her body taking in her, ridiculously fuzzy, slippers, plaid bed shorts, and tank top, which just so happened to have the logo of the band whose song was currently blaring still, before finally meeting her eyes. “Oh so you do realize that it is 3 am, here I was thinking that maybe you thought it was still a decent time to have your music so loud that the people on the other side of the city can hear it.” He leaned against the doorframe as she spoke. “I didn’t realize they had filed complaints.” He smirked at her, “I am assuming they then elected you to come ask me to turn it down?” “No actually it was my need to sleep that drove me to come ask you to turn it down. Since you know some people are actually trying to get some sleep at 3 in the morning!” She couldn’t help but raise her voice at the end of the sentence. “Sorry to cut into your beauty rest, Princess.” “Look all I am asking is that you turn it down enough that I can’t hear it, you can go about listening to your music into all hours of the morning. For the love of God though let some people get some sleep.” She said tiredly, and resist the urge to lead against his door. Gale sighed, holding up a finger before retreating into his apartment, giving her a clear look into his living room, only to come back with in a minute the music volume having drastically reduced to the point where she could no longer hear it. “Is that better?” He asked approaching the door again. “Much actually, thank you.” She stood up straight again. “Your welcome, sorry it kept you awake, though I mean it could have at least been bad music.” He put his hand against the door jam, “Is that all I can do for you this lovely morning?” “Actually, yes that is all.” She said blinking and stepping back from the doorway, “I guess I will see you around the hallway?” She tagged on awkwardly. “Yeah, or you could let me buy you dinner to make up for the loss of sleep I caused you.” Gale said glancing her up and down again, Madge’s thoughts screaming, then maybe keeping me up in a much more entertaining way. She decided to ignore that line of thought and blame it on her lack of sleep. “I think one dinner might not be enough to make up for it, maybe two dinners? Or dinner and a movie?” She smirked as she slowly backed towards her apartment door. “Hmm well I think either of those sound nice to me, you free tomorrow at 6?” He let his arm drop from the doorway. “Tomorrow at 6 works for me.” Madge said opening her door and stepping inside her apartment, “See you then.” She threw over her shoulder as she shut her door and headed back to her room to finally get her rest.
