2JOHNS

I fell asleep kind of late last night and had a super peculiar dream. I was at the Crescent Ballroom (a music venue in Arizona) seeing a band play. The venue was dark; the only object with light hitting it was a wide black banner flaunting the name 2JOHNS. Shortly after, spotlights shined on a drum set placed on the right side of the stage and a guitar amp and microphone on the left. The crowd erupted into a joyous applause as John Stamos and Johnny Depp took their places behind the drum set and guitar respectively. This was 2JOHNS. I'm not a huge fan of John Stamos nor Johnny Depp, so I don't know why I was there. They played very atmospheric indie music, something their band name didn't suggest at all. Besides the use of ambient lighting and fog, they also had a sumo wrestler as a security guard placed on the stage next to Johnny Depp, something so bizarre that I couldn't make out if he was a real security guard or if it was just part of the 2JOHNS experience. They finished the first song and Johnny Depp immediately turned away from the microphone to tune his guitar. I clapped a few times before noticing that everyone in the room was silent. Johnny Depp quickly took his guitar off and approached the microphone again. "Who clapped?" The crowd pointed at me. Johnny Depp stared at me for what felt like forever before putting the microphone to his lips when he finally found the right words to express his anger. "I want you to die," he said, pointing directly at me. Johnny Depp then whispered into the ear of his sumo wrestler security guard, pointing me out in the audience. The sumo wrestler screamed and leaped at me from the stage. I woke up before he hit me. 2JOHNS isn't even a band.

the dynamic duo (JJF + Blake Kueny) do it again.  These are starting to feel more and more like Joe G, and that’s a good thing.  Great mixture of B&W as well as rad color.  Awesome music as well.  Hat’s off!
