Here is a scrapped thumbnails storyboard I’ve made for my 2 minute pre-production brief which I didn’t upload for the duration of the project. I scrapped it because it was too long but it featured the girl’s backstory where she was bullied with the bugs poured onto her. 

This scene was supposed to take place after the monster vomits on the girl and then she wakes up from the flashback.

Here are some test with my character's eyes after getting feedback of my work during the crit. Jonathan said that my character's eyes resembles of the monster in my animation, which is intentional. On the other hand, Jonathan also suggested my character to have more expressive facial expressions which is why I did this.

Here is my animatic of my 2 Minute Film "Insomnolence". It has most of the sound effects I want it to have for now and I'm quite pleased with the results. Although I am worried about the girl's eyes blending with her hair but I think it adds to her glum personality.

Here is the loose schedule I made for my 2 minute film production bible. I based it off from the time schedule we got from the entire year and tried to map out how it would go. I excluded the weekends and I think my schedule would look different because I would be involved in other projects during these times like theory and graduate assistance.

Here are my storyboards taken out from my animatic with some notes about the scenes below. The notes are really vague because I worked on the animatic first because it was different drawing the boards first, so I had to see it in action before laying them out like this.

Here are my improved style frames of my 2 minute film. I used charcoal on white paper and inversed it in CLIP Studio Paint. I like the simplicity of these style frames and I think the sound effects are going to carry my film when I'm in production.

Here is my cover art for my 2 minute film production bible. I had the girl's family pictures in the background and the insects in the film crawling around. The figures are on the side to see what she is cowering from and the reason why she's in that pose is because she is meant to be the monster since it came from the manifestation of her fears.
