I’ve been waiting a long time to attend an NBA Game in my Hometown since the day i was in the Hospital for my Nephew’s Birth knowing at the same time that the Sonics left town. As many of you know, Despite growing up a 2nd Generation Sonics fan, I never gotten a chance to watch the Sonics in person. But, I have countless memories watching Sonics games with my Father & remembered that my Dad used to have out of all of the Local Seattle team’s merchandise, The most Merch that he had...Was the Sonics. This jersey (That i chose to wear for tomorrow night’s game) was the jersey i had countless memories watching the Sonics from The LOB from @gary.payton.20 to Shawn Kemp to countless Battles with the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazers to the 96 Finals against Jordan & the 72-10 Chicago Bulls...I can go on. Tomorrow night since it will be the Final event before they tear KeyArena down to Rebuild it for our Pending NHL Hockey Team & soon not too far down the road the Sonics returning attending the game with Family. Even though i never attended a Sonics game, When the final Buzzer sounds, It’s going to be an emotional one for me along with other Sonics fans because of watching Sonics games with memorable battles against other teams with my Dad on TV at that very Arena, Losing the Sonics because of the condition of that arena & fighting for 8 long years since a guy named Chris Hansen came up to the Scene to try to get the Sonics back & always believing that one Day, The Sonics will be back home along with Welcoming NHL Hockey with them even though doubters told me to forget about the Sonics & they’re not coming back....Wait and see. Things are brewing & i can’t wait to express my feelings to Bring the Sonics back so i can finally pass my memories on to my Nephew, My Future Kids & the Next Generation of my Family someday.. ;D LETS GO SEATTLE!!!!
