Tassa stepped inside the house carefully, she had been there before but there was always the chance for a sneak attack.
"Tassa!" She heard two voices call out.
She cursed under her breath and was immediately crushed by a group hug.
Tassa grumbled, "What have I told you both about hugging me?"
Olivia pulled away first, "Sorry dear, we were just so excited!"
Hella chuckled sheepishly, "Sorry."
After getting settled, they finally started to discuss what the three of them came here for today.
Olivia asked, “Haven’t you wondered what life is like on the other side of the mirror?”
Tassa crossed her arms, “We know our 1Ps, I don’t think we need to know more than that.”
Hella hit her in the shoulder, “You’re just saying that because you don’t like your 1P!”
Tassa didn’t dislike her 1P per say, but she wasn’t exactly fond of her either.
Tassa shot back, “Well are you best friends with your 1P?”
Hella gave her a smile (It annoyed Tassa how Hella could always smile through anything but that was just how Hella was), “I’d say we get along pretty well! But she needs to smile more. Same with my little sister’s 1P. They both need to smile more, they look so annoyed-”
Olivia interrupted what was going to be a long speech, “Sorry love, but I think we’re getting a bit off-topic.”
Hella smiled sheepishly and apologized for the second time that day.
Olivia got up from where she was sitting, “Well I think we should at least try a little.”
Hella jumped to her feet, “Exactly! I think it’d be fun to see the our 1Ps world!”
Tassa thought it over. After some thinking she slowly got up too, “Fine, but only because I want to know why we’re different from our 1Ps.”
Olivia and Hella blinked owlishly at her.
Tassa sighed in exasperation, “I’ll explain when we get to the basement.”
When they get to the basement, Tassa found a chalkboard and started to draw two stick figures, “We already know that we’re different from our 1Ps in different ways. The way we look,” Tassa found a different colored piece of chalk and colored the figures differently, “the way our worlds are and the way we act to name a few.”
She turned around to look at Olivia and Hella, “The last two are the most important. I find it hard to believe that us and our 1Ps would end up so different if our situations were the same.”
Hella raised an eyebrow, “But isn’t that the point of it being an alternate universe? They’re supposed to be different situations.”
“But why? What events were different and how did they affect us differently? What changed? What caused the domino effect of us being different?”
Olivia agreed, “I think Tassa may have a point.”
Hella nodded enthusiastically, “It’s a worthy cause, let’s get started!”
And so the trio set off to find out why all personifications were different.
