5, 15, 25, 35!
5 - The best birthday I’ve had would probably have been my 15th birthday. Technically in the Brazilian culture, we call a girl’s fifteenth birthday festa de quinze anos as opposed to quinceanera but my birthday was nothing like the traditional Brazilian birthday. I celebrated at CiCi’s Pizza (a pizza restaurant that used to be a really popular place for a lot of the kids at my high school / me + my friends liked to hang out at) and roughly the same amount of people I invited showed up (one or two people came with extras but it wasn’t a big deal) We had the arcade, the all you could food, the cake, soda, pretty much everything I could asked for I got. I still have pictures of that day and it was one of the best days of my life.
15 – I answered this :3 [ you can look at my last ask if you go through my reply tag]
25 – I wouldn’t call her my ex-best friend per say but we used to be close and now we aren’t. She changed a lot in high school after she first got together with her first boyfriend. After they broke up, it all pretty much went downhill from there. She started hanging out with a different crowd and because that crowd had similar interests, she started to act and think that she was better than me + a lot of other people. I didn’t think it was worth the time or the energy to try to stay friends with her so we basically drifted apart. Funny thing is, I’ve remained friends with her twin brother.
35 – I wish I could stop stressing out over things I can’t change or people whose actions I can’t change. I tend to worry and allow situations / circumstances to gnaw / bite at me until I feel so overwhelmed I don’t know what to do with myself. It sucks when you’re face to face within a circumstance that’s beyond your control ( and you wan to fix it but you either don’t have the authority to or have no idea what to fix) but you have to suck it up / just finish the day with your head held high.
