Heads up: I'm probably writing some CroTuna in the next 24 hours. I say heads up because it's gonna look incredibly problematic, in Kankri speak.

Things to remember:

2x2Mituna's pandamage has been healed as a result of the +1 best ending.

2x2Mituna's healing didn't fix the fact that he's a fucking asshole.

2x2Mituna is inappropriately sexual at the best of times.

2x2Mituna uses really inappropro names for his genitalia. Gratuitous examples: boycunt, fagina.

2x2Mituna has 2x2Cronus wrapped around his little finger.

This may or may not be partly recompense for the icky shit Cronus pulled during that thousands of sweeps they spent dead and Mituna spent pandamaged.

2x2Mituna is the one taking advantage of 2x2Cronus by manipulating his desire to be accepted by others.

2x2Cronus likes being taken advantage of.

This is some consensual fucked-up powerplay shit, okay, and if you think it'll make you do the uncomfies then I'd advise you not to read it.

As it stands now, they're moirails. Because I can't not ship these two somehow, they're too cute not to. But they don't need each other as matesprits any more. Latula and Porrim actually have a steady fling going on, and Mituna has Cronus and Kankri wrapped around his little fingers.

To me this also explains why Kankri is so protective of Mituna and so obsessed with Latula. Kankri can't get over thinking of Mituna as pan-damaged, and the fact that Mituna's also trans means Kankri thinks of him as a delicate flower who's unable to fend for himself. In 2x2 Mituna is healed as part of the +1 of best-ending post-game, which means he's just generally an obnoxious asshole, a manipulative little shit, and inappropriately sexual at the best of times. Kankri thinks he's protecting Mituna from Cronus, but in reality Mituna has Cronus wrapped around his little finger and is twirling his pinkie around Kankri at the same time.

And Kankri is obsessed with Latula because he knows she's trans and how can she not be so acutely aware of it at all times he must reinforce her worth as a woman she needs him 6lah 6lah 6lah coddling cissexist behavior disguised as "help". Frick that noize, Latula is a strong independent woman who don't need no Kankri. And Porrim takes a special delight in her "SUPPORT YOUR SISTERS, NOT JUST YOUR CIS-TERS" shirt, especially when Latula holds her hand around campus.

Latula has no problem with sticking her shoe firmly up Cronus's waste chute and swirling it around in his food noodles for a few minutes, and she's always eager to whack Kankri with a newspaper. She's got Mituna's back if he ever wants to take a break from corralling freshly-teenaged libido. And Mituna snarls at Porrim occasionally when he thinks she's not treating Latula right, but for the most part Mituna doesn't have anything to worry about from her.
