Although I can definitely appreciate rap, I've never been one to really enjoy its raunchiness or culture.... until Donald Glover. From the relatively simple and catchy Heartbreak to the amazingly deep The Last.. it's all relatable - and to all types of people none the less.
Also, without even touching on the beats, can we talk about how fucking brilliant his lyrics are? I busted out laughing from his wordplay about 5 times throughout this video of Bonfire (that NYU-Tisch/30 Rock writing is on point). Ugh so unique and real and flowing with talent in all aspects of performing arts.
