I understood why pi day is on the 14th of march just now.
Because in america they write the date the other way around and so the first three digits of pi make up the date.

Happy pi day
I did a thing...
So as you know today is pi day, at my school in home room on pi day we bring pies and eat them and it’s fun and all. Anywho, my friend got a bit ahead of me so I had to run to catch up to her and when I got there she was walking with one of her other friends. So I walked up to them and started walking with them. Kadin, her friend was carrying a pie because only one person took one of his pieces, he asked if I wanted it. I told him yes and casually started eating as I was walking and talking with them. After about 15 minuets it was my turn off and as I was saying goodbye I noticed I finished my pie. I ate 7/8 of a pie today.
