John Browning And His 1918 Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR 1918)
Springfield Battle Rifles
Today is not so much a review as just showing my latest build. I’ve taken a break from building Gundam kits for a while, only to help me tackle some new things instead. As one of the teachers running an after school model club with mostly war builders attending, I figured why not take a stab at one? So I got a Tamiya 1/35 scale Willys Jeep!
Unlike gundams, which I build as brand new in appearance, I wanted this to be weathered and beaten with one or two missing parts and lots of mud splatters. I even added some bullet scratches at the front (the windscreens took a hit too, knocking one panel loose and the other has cracks in it).
I’m really happy with how this Jeep turned out, but I’m not going to be hand painting the pieces of a kit 3 times over any time soon after it.
