#30 ways

So I have a minor issue.

I'm currently working on 30 days, in fact still on that bj chapter. but you see I skipped chapter 3 which is... first time.

In the OG version I literally wrote Rhareth & Ophiel's first time together and WOOF why its 9k words I have NO idea. That was back when I could hyperfocus and bang out ridiculous word counts looking at you 22k word fanfic chapter

anyways

i highkey wanna write something from scratch as I know the first time together is something part of the larger story and if i ever decide to sit down and actually write the story it's prob gonna be different (and i may publish idk at this point)

"First time" is just the prompt so feasibly I could write a LOT of "first time" things but if I DO change this one chapter then its not a true "pure rewrite"

idk. I know I'm too in my head about it. But I'm not sure which direction to choose.

A collection of 30 prompts written in 2017. It was once uploaded onto AO3, but was taken down for edits. 

30 Ways is a finished first draft of 30 different erotic prompts about the sexcapades of Ophiel, who is an angel, with Rhareth and Iarilan, an incubus and succubus, who run the bar/club The Rotten Eden in Hell. 

This collection is intended to be read without prior knowledge of the characters or world. The acts depicted are all canon within the world of Tainted Wings and the characters unless otherwise noted. 

30 Ways needs heavy edits as it is full of old writing, bad dialogue, awkward descriptions and sentences, and Ophiel’s pronouns need to be changed as her gender identity changed after writing this collection. 

Usually NaNoWriMo is a month to pen a new story, but this year I needed something a little easier and more doable as it is OT and busy season for my job. I also wanted to practice editing, as its what I am weakest with in regards to my writing journey. 

I plan on blogging every day, or every few days, about my work on this story and my process. I may also post some snippets comparing the old version and new version. If I finish by the end of the month, I hope to also upload the entire collection onto AO3 for free!

Cuddles

She couldn’t stop herself from staring at herself in the mirror.

Mirrors.

In Heaven, she rarely used them. There was no need to. Appearance hardly meant much. Each day, she wore the same robe. She did not need any assistance from her reflection to put it on. Her curls always naturally fell around her shoulders, brushed and perfected as soon as she woke up. Her pale skin did not bunch with oils, sweat, or grime, and thus acne never bloomed.

Ophiel couldn't remember the last time she looked in the mirror before finding herself in Hell.

And now she stood in front of herself, yet alone, once more. As she had done many days before.

In Hell, sweat pooled at the nape. The threat of acne always loomed close, breathing hot air down her neck. Her curls no longer bounced with a healthy gleam every morning; she now needed to brush tangles out of each lock and shower to get the grime out.

To dress oneself in color, to stare and preen, would be the sin of pride.

Or, at least, the wrong pride.

God never frowned upon angels who spoke of their holy work in high regards. No throne or archangel ever bore down upon those who burst with passion for their role in existence.

But Ophiel knew if a throne appeared behind her at the moment, she would be smote. Nothing but fire and fury would come down upon her shoulders, burning every inch of her away until not even the dust of her feathers remained.

The wrong pride.

Ophiel gulped at the sight, her cheeks flushing with a rosy blush.

“Rhaaareth,” Ophiel whined, dragging out the a of his name. She straightened her spine and tilted her head back to pin him with a small glare.

A wide grin met her gaze.

Ophiel huffed, blowing a stray curl out of her face. “You’re no fun. And not fair.”

Rhareth and Iarilan cackled at that. Ophiel’s flush deepened, but her pout never fell.

Yes I knowww I haven’t posted that chapter of 30 ways I ended up getting sick and am still sick

Which is. Weird for me as this is the first time in years I’ve gotten sick and it’s odd.

I hope to start feeling better by the weekend so can A) make up hours for work and B) continue editing the threesome for 30 ways

Ok so I decided I'm going to start reposting the rewritten chapters of my 30 day smut challenge I started writing back in like. fuckin. 2016/2017ish.

I've only rewritten like. 3/30 chapters and not in order but considering i dont even have or know where the original 30 day prompts are i dont think itll kill anyone if they aren't in perfect order or anything.

I figure I'll use it as a way to warm up a little or practice some writing when the writer's block gets to me since I have a base to work with (the first draft)

I already queued up the first chapter to post along with a link to AO3 where it'll mainly be posted. if yall like healthy polyamorous relationships, angel and demon sex, and light to heavy bdsm I suggest checking it out <3
