30 DAYS DRAWING CHALLENGE - DAY 8 : Favorite Animated Character

Yes, it’s Carl Fredrickson from the 3D animated movie UP.  Adventure is out there! Carl and I has the same adventurous spirit like him I have a list of places I wanted to see :)

Illustration process.. I encounter a slight problem with my photoshop sketch in my previous illustration so this time since i only plan to draw his face I did my sketch in illustrator.

30 Days Drawing Challenge - Day 7 : FAVORITE MOVIE

Edward Scissorhands is one of my childhood favorite. I want my own garden like that and of course I am a big fan of Johnny Depp :) So here's my version :p

Illustration Process... I did different approach. I started drawing the background, I wanted to add a moonlight effect but I found it difficult to add nice lighting ( I just wish I had a mentor to teach me the best approach) anyways i just added a slight touch of light. Also I did a slight adjustment with my sketch. I included the illustrator screenshot with my reference photos hehe inspiration :)

30 Days Drawing Challenge - DAY 6 : FAVORITE BOOK CHARACTER

Anne was my childhood favorite book character and LM Montgomery was my first favorite author. While sketching I noticed that Wendy's logo has same features with Anne ( red braided hair & the freckles )

Illustration process ( It's not yet final.. I spend some time, or maybe I'm just slow but I guess I'm learning the tool.. will update this in the future :p )

I love my cats but I am a dog person.. I have 5 dogs in my house in she is my favorite for more than 2 years already. Her name is Chi-Chi :)

Yes. Finally I started the 30 Days Drawing Challenge or 30 Days Adobe Illustrator practice. Hello Day 1! Hello Self. This is my typical look stripy shirt and a chucks shoes :p

I'm giving few hours in the next 29 days to do some discovery and practice with my illustration skills using adobe illustrator. Basically this is how I draw 1. Quick sketch - mostly detailed face for characters 2. Line art -I'm using blob brush. 3. Coloring (base color)- live paint is great! 4. Details ( highlights & shadow) - i'm using line tool & gradient.
