DAY ONE ZERO
After reading issues of Frankie and their challenges (30 days booze-free, second-hand hand me downs and eating only No Frills, I was inspired to take on my own challenge. 30 days without spending a single cent. I've got a pantry stacked to the ceiling with too many food, and just way too many things. So it's the perfect challenge to reduce my material goods. My main concern is the possible lack of fresh fruit and vegies :( After losing track of the dates (as I wanted to start it on June 1st), I've decided to start it today. It was going quite well, resisting the urge to purchase reduced items and snacks while working at Woolworth. That was until... my pants split. Yes, quite embarrassing. So I rushed off to purchase a new pair as I didn't intend on scaring any customers with my privates... What a great way to start this challenge, lasting not even a whole day. Alas, I've decided to restart it tomorrow. With a fresh pair of pants, I highly doubt it'll be splitting in any playful locations... P.S: automatic debits to cover bills are excluded from this challenge. I don't want to get in trouble with the bank, nor any other institutes and be hounded with late fees.
