feeling good about quilted pillows! just need to adjust the sizing a bit, I think. I splurged on a giant @olfacutter mat that should arrive sometime in the next week or so (living in the middle of the ocean is fun), which will make it so much easier to square up these giant quilt blocks. #30minssewingdaily #100dayproject 22/100

the gray fabric is from a wrinkle resistant cotton shirt, which means it’s also resistant to a neatly pressed seam, and it’s maaaaybe gonna kill me. i may just skip the dark gray for the rest of this set. #30minssewingdaily #100dayproject 16/100

Making good progress on new designs for zip purses/makeup bags/pencil cases. I definitely feel ready to start testing this out with quilted panels, which means I need to make some quilted panels ha. Today makes 10 days in a row of #30minssewingdaily, so making quilted panels feels like such a possible thing. Slow and steady.
I finished this pillow for my #30minssewingdaily before I go to work tonight. I’m happy enough with how it turned out, but I’ve tried a couple different finishing techniques for pillows, and I have yet to find one I love. Any and all opinions welcome on envelope closures vs. zippers and methods of finishing seams. I just want to make pretty quilted pillows with super pretty seams. . I ran out of thread and time to finish it, but I think I’ve figured out a workable pattern for quilted pillow cases with a zipper. I am so psychedddddd. If only I didn’t have to go to work tonight. #30minssewingdaily
