Next month will be my 30 year HS reunion. They wanted us to share our school picture vs our current picture. It is funny to even think about the 18 year old in this picture. I have so many things I wish I could tell him. I want you to know you will be ok. You will go through some dark stuff but will see some beautiful things. You will meet and fall in love with the man of your dreams and build a wonderful life that you both create and work for. You will find healing and create boundaries and live the second half of life better than the first. You will lose your hair and gain some weight. But you will never lose your sense of wonder or your ability to find light in the darkness.
