thanks! diamimi and luna are not really from the same history idea actually and dia doesnt have a backstory luna's deal is that she is in a revenge quest but i dont feel very confortable about talking about it bc im shy and is a silly idea that i still want to do smth in the future idk!! i dont want to spoil smth im not even sure about the details yet

It happened in the show too! The meerkat, named Shakespeare, got bit on the cheek and it swole up real bad. I HAD THE FEELS. I WAS ACTUALLY TEARING UP. BUT HE MADE IT. When I visited the zoo, the keeper there told us a bunny got in and well… bunny didn’t make it. I was like, d a m n. Damn.
I was just reading their Wikipedia page and apparently their groups are called 'mobs' and 'gangs' and if that's not enough of an indicator that these lil guys mean business, I don't know what.

I don’t remember what I had thought of Timon when I was little, but I found out what a meerkat was from Meerkat Manor. Then I looked back at The Lion King and went, oh shi– Timon’s a meerkat! Mind. Blown. And then I got obsessed with meerkats for over a year. Still love the lil buggers even though they are V I C I O U S.
OH YEAH I remember this one documentary I watched in which one just went ahead and fought a ffffucking venomous snake and the snake bit it but IT SURVIVED and I was like HOLY SHIT TIMON IS BADASS

I LOVE MEERKATS SO MUCH TOO. But I also didn’t know what the HECK Timon was either!
At one point I found out in a Lion King comic book I had (part of a small collection of Disney comic books that I have no idea of where they came from but chances are my dad bought them) that he was called a 'mongoose', so I assumed he was a mongoose, but then looked them up and realized they looked nothing like Timon so I was like ???????
I suppose whoever wrote that comic version of the movie got confused because meerkats are in the mongoose family pff

When I was a kid I loved fairies, I even actually broke down crying over being afraid of growing up without ever seeing one, and I used to think they were like this little cute Disney people. Nowadays I still like them but I'm more interested in the creepier aspects of them like how they're basically the predecessor of alien abductions and how they can casually curse or just mess with people and steal their children. It's amazing.
I love dryads as well if only because I like plant people, and animal spirits of course... which I guess don't have a category since that's a broad umbrella but stuff like kitsunes and bakenekos? Like animals that can take human forms and most of the time take advantage of that to also mess with people? That's my jam pfff
