TOO MUCH nail gore at the end, I was not able to watch that scene properly. Anyway I have no idea what the fuck is going on because the scene with Ram implies Subaru is faking it but he definitely isn't so like I don't actually know what they're even doing right now. Like I do but I don't know why. Admittedly though, that's a fun feeling. Part of why season 3 was such a joyless experience for me is because there was 0 narrative intrigue for me to hold onto at any point. Doing stuff that makes me go "what the hell?" is a good thing. Will this be the first positive score I give a Re:Zero season in forever? Perhaps so.

This show has been moving a little slow for me so it was nice leaving the mansion and spending time actually elsewhere seeing new things and getting information that's a little easier to parse lol.

I had a great time with this season even though a lot of it went over my head so before season 3 I WILL give myself a proper recap somehow, whether that be a rewatch or even reading the manga or just being lazy and finding youtube summaries.
