Little dressup with my new toyboy...
Electric Nights
A show ends much later than it was supposed to, And I am past the age where that is something to celebrate. I yawn, and my joints ache, and I have work in the morning, But I have laughed until I cried, Cheered until my voice died, And I do not want it to end.
The night offers their hand And asks me to dance And I don't care that I'm not wearing the right shoes. I forget the weariness of age And for a moment I am buoyed in the timeless sense of youth, In the way that tomorrow is forever away And the present is long enough to last a lifetime.
For once I listen to the voice saying "stay out a little longer". For once I make magic happen and let the moment linger. For once the night is light with laughter and friends. It is electric like static, A tingling that runs over your skin And makes your hair wild And reminds you just how wonderful it is to be alive.

Oh. This table is all about the love. It’s, uh, tokens of appreciation from people we serve. Baked goods are big, and cards. We love the cards.
