it’s been forever since i did a lore den so i think i’m gonna end up doing that after i get the gems to move my den but i already have the leaders - though they’re still wip. even made a new sideblog for my fr stuff
meet karenia on the left and alpenglow on the right! both are gen 1s, both bought and gene’d up today. both impulse buys.
apparel is still not set in stone yet, but the genes are set. changed alp into a skydancer and karenia will eventually be a wildclaw i’m thinking, but that’ll have to wait.
it’s the first time in a while i’ve been excited over flight rising stuff iso more rambling under the cut.
i’m actually really happy with their colours and their names. karenia is named after algae that cause red tides, based on the red and blue colouration she has. alpenglow is named after the optical phenomenon that causes reddish hues on like mountains opposite of the sun, based on the reddish colours in his wings.

to be honest i probably wont breed them but if i did the range would be below. which that tert range is. a lot. hence the not gonna breed them unless someone really wants one for some reason
im mostly just excited because i havent had a lair project in a while. just sort of threw together whatever but now i actually have a project that’s gonna take a pretty penny
