okay i’ve been watching a kdrama (queen of tears) lately and i couldn’t stop thinking about lestappen (as always)…

charles as the perfect golden prince, the prim and proper ceo of a company owned by the ferrari family idk. his family/company is strict and has so much complex dynamics that are straight up toxic. his husband is of course lawyer max, who is the legal director of their company. they got married a few years ago after falling in love at first sight back when they were both interning at the company, but now they’re struggling with their marriage bc of all the toxic family dynamics that get between them. max wants a divorce bc he’s forgotten how to love charles in the midst of all the chaos but charles is still in love, even though he can’t outwardly show it bc he’s grown unsure of his place in max’s life. cue angst and they get a divorce but they realize they really still belong together and they live happily ever after

the lovers to exes(?) to lovers dynamic just always gets me every time…

he wld be a fake kind of trophy husband who actually runs ten (potentially undeclared) businesses while acting like he spends his whole day on yatch. which he does on some occasions to make max's deals fail
