Hello Toro - a collector commissioned me to do make a fun project that combines Hello Kitty and EL TORO. I've never done this before so I had to make a few versions. Swipe to see the ones I liked the best. *** Here's a glimpse behind the curtains on my process. I hope this teaches or helps you on your future prijects. You can see how messy the sketches are and they are far from perfect. This is the best part of the project where I can just go wild with ideas. Sometimes bad because having too many ideas. So I need to sketch the concept quick before another idea pops up. Quick and dirty does the job and after this I take a picture of my ideas and do a 2nd pass on my ipad to tighten up everything. Then from there I retrace on tracing paper ( first slide ) This gives me the final composition I want and then begin to transfer to canvas via the charcoal technique.
