Ginny Weasley
A redraw of an old favourite. When I started my blog, I drew Ginny, and she is still one of my favourites. There's just so much character to work with when it comes to Ginny. She's a real bad-ass; confident, fun, brave and opinionated. If there's one thing the new HBO series should change from the films, it's giving this girl the gusto she deserves ⭐️
I had a lot of fun exploring some new outfit ideas for Ginny. She's got that cool 90's/early 00's thrifty style, and she makes a lot of her own clothes. As someone who grew up without ever getting anything new, she would learn to be crafty from a young age. Remaking her brothers' old clothes to fit her better, or to make something new out of them entirely.
And if there's one thing I loved reading about her, it's that she would play Quidditch without her brothers, nicking their brooms from the shed in the garden to practice without them teasing her about it. In the end, she became the only Weasley to go pro after Hogwarts. That's playing the long game, and I respect that :)
Let's be honest: Ginny Weasley is way too cool for Harry Potter, and we all know it.
The old version I did two years ago: Still a really good one, I love it! I like to think of this one as her 13-year old self, as opposed to the 16-year old I drew this time.
