“3 GUARDIANS”

After earning a degree in graphic design at @mecaart Chris Saunders moved to Los Angeles. Pursuing a career in motion graphics he worked with leading agencies and brands and also taught at @ArtCenterEDU, but a near-death experience in 2009 led him to make some changes. Saunders says he found himself “compelled to create images that were pouring from his subconscious” exploring themes of connectedness, abstraction, and psychedelic experience. He now uses art and design “to promote inspiration, productive rebellion, intentional evolution, and self awareness.” 34° north is a gym in Santa Monica dedicated to the whole human—body, mind, and community and in 2017 they found an ideal partner in Saunders.
