Visits...
I met him at an eagles game, or rather saw him. To be honest I went there in the mood for some player, or rather one as chances where always high to meet some afterwards.
But when I sat down on the benches I immiduately noticed him. He was new, jogging along the line in his cute black and white outfit, all serious amoung the referees.
So the game was basically done for me. I couldn't take my eyes off him.
And close to the end of the first half I got up, making my way to the closest security.
It was Jake. Quite the nice build aswell, but I mainly used him to get where I wanted here and there.
He looked at me with hard eyes as I stepped infront of him.
"Serve" I stated without hesitation and his face changed in an instance.
"Who is that new referee"
"I don't know about a new refferee, Sir" he answered. That was unfortunate.
But I had an Idea where I definately would get what I want.
"Have you seen Coach Whittaker?"
"No, Sir"
"Well, then get him to the gate near pepsi plaze"
He immediately headed off. And so did I, taking my time as this would possibly take some time.
When I eventually got there I had to wait a bit longer until coach got there, looking a bit pissed. I bet Mike, the Security guy, was pretty, lets say, consistent. Now he trotted after coach like the good boy he was.
Whittaker though hardly was able to open his mouth before I snapped my fingers, letting him stop.
He now was a much better source of information.
"He is a replacement today." He told me.
"Ok. I wanna speak to him alone." I ordered, walking slowly to that secluded hallway I actually got Mike once, more or less by pure chance.
It took a bit until they came. So I waited. That hallway sure evoked some memories. And Iwas nervous! Although this really wasn't the first time, the excitement still hit me every time.
"Sir?" I heared an unfamiliar voice. And as I turned, there he was. That well shaped referee, still wearin his tight black and white attire.
"Ah, yeah. I hope this isn't too inconvinient"
"I men, I honestly don't have a lot of time, but coach seemed to let me no choice"
"Really? I'm sorry about that. But I really needed to talk to you" I smiled with slight nervousness. Although I really had some experience in such situations now, I almost never know what to say. So I started to ramble something about the game, asking abput which games he reffed before.
It really showed that my talk didn't have the urgency coach probably implied and that referee, Nick Henson as I learned, really showed some growing impatience yet staying polite.
So I needed to talk on, get him in, keep him in with every word. And more and more his stance got calm, his eyes stayed onto mine more frequent, bit by bit, aswell as I got more relaxed, talking on about whatever came to my mind until he didn't seem to want to get away anymore.
"So, Nick. How about me checking if your clothes sit right" I eventually risked a pretty bold move. Although it wasn't as bold as one might perceive it following the conversation.
For me though, this was rather a save bet now, as, at that point, all the neevousness had melted away, the initial conversation crafted to a point where I knew exactly that I had reached my goal.
Or did I? Although I was pretty sure, there always was that slight thrill of the first real move.
And after I said that, the moments felt that little bit longer. How would he respondM would he even? Would he leave?
But he didn't reply at all. In fact he hadn't really moved for some bit now.
So I got close. Close enough to smell his collogne. Some musk even from running quite a bit on the field.
And I lift my hand while keeping my eyes on his, feeling the wristband of his short before sliding in. He stayed perfeclty still, breathing slowly, my mind bursting with all the possibilities that layed ahead...
