Incredibly proud and thrilled to share my 360º “worldizing-video” technique I created in my award-winning 360 immersive thesis film “Walking Past Abandoned Houses, I Think of Eric” as part of this comprehensive guide “Virtual Reality Cinema / Narrative Tips & Techniques", co-authored by the founding director of our MFA in Communication Media Arts program at Ohio University, Eric R. Williams and university colleagues Carrie and Matt Love. Huge shout out to my fellow MFA cohorts who also contributed to the book: VR cinema director content by Josh Crook, and cover design, VR typography and graphics overlay chapter, by Adonis Dorado, Remarkable to think that much of this content was created three years ago in our Spring 2018 MDIA 5220 Virtual Reality: 360 Stories class with Professor Eric Williams, where our team produced an empathy building simulation for medical and law enforcement professionals called FINAL NOTICE. This simulation was so powerful and visionary it helped secure grant funding by the GRIB Lab at Ohio University to produce cinematic VR content for the State of Ohio.
