Dial Code Santa Claus (AKA Deadly Games, AKA Game over)
This little number takes us to France. This movie is literally a mix of Home Alone, Die Hard, and I can’t help but feel there is a touch of Rambo added to this. I also have a soft spot for foreign horror films, mainly because you can’t close your eyes or look away because the character might say something and BAM you’re lost! I won’t lie, I had a really hard time watching this one mainly because it is just, well, bad. I did feel really bad for the psycho in the movie, he just wants to help children! He just wants to show them that he is not some creep and be nice to them and to let his inner child out… okay well that’s at least what I think he is doing. Again, hard time watching, probably missed something. Another problem I had with the movie is what kind of parents leave a small boy alone with an ailing grandfather?! Seriously that kid is not old enough for that as it is and on top of that, he has to protect him from a psycho dressed up as Santa?! No! That is 50 shades of wrong! Although, grandpa managing to shoot said psycho at the end of the movie when he is obviously super blind was kind of cool.
