365 seconds. Welcome to a glimpse of what I do.
From birthday 2013 to birthday 2014. Filled with trials and tribulations of life. Third year of medical school fills up most of it until I realized I didn't want to accidentally violate privacy laws. It's a compilation of the ups, the downs, the boring study days, the fantastical moments of meeting new people for whom one second could do no justice. I've succeeded. I've failed. I've won, and lost, but I'm still here. I didn't merely survive this last year, I lived it.
If anything, this project taught me about how important it was to take time every day, even through the vigors of being a third year. It's a reminder of how much we tend to forget through the background of those memorable social weekends. Even those boring study days make us who we are. I'll admit, it was sometimes hard to decide which clip to use for a particular day. Tons of biking (since I bike to the hospital usually for rotations), climbing, volleyball, friends, and med schooling. We all need things to keep us sane.
Here's to the next year. Who knows what it might bring?
