I swear, the journey was tedious and tiring but nonetheless, it filled me with megawatt smiles and twinkling eyes. Manila is indeed a spectacular place! I definitely would go back!!! As the saying goes, one day is not enough to explore what lies within a paradise.
Me, being me, an 18 year old journalist, student and part time tutor, who has never been to Rizal Park (yes im serious) or Manila Zoo (yes that's serious too) or National Museum...I always thought of these places as my life's cruise unlocked levels.
Just december last year, I listed a posy of places under the label "Places I want to Go (2015)" and these places were apparently included.
It's just such a good feel to realize you've accomplished something out of your goals. It makes me feel real. It makes me feel more of a human. It makes me want to live more.

Hahaha nakakatawa. Para kong bata kanina. Kasi yung puso ko lumulundag ng hindi ko malaman kung bakit. Parang yung pakiramdam nung una kong makita si Jollibee. O nung first time kong makasakay sa roller coaster. Hahaha. Imaginin niyo na lang. Basta ang saya ko kanina. Kung may bibig nga lang yung puso ko ngiting ngiti na 'to. Ewan. Gandang ganda lang talaga ako sa Rizal Park. Dahil ba first time ko lang makita? EWAN. Basta ang alam ko, babalik ako dun kasi hindi pa ako tapos maglibot. At hindi pa ko nakakasakay sa kalesa. Grabe kase 250 daw pala yon? Hahaha aba matinde. Hahaha Next time may kasama na akong jowa. Hahah biro lang pero siyempre medyo seryoso yun. Dati nung nadadaanan ko 'to nung nag entrance exam ako sa feu and ust, nagtataka ko kung bakit ang daming tao. Akala ko kasi dati istatwa lang ni Dr. Jose Rizal ang nandon. Hahaha diba? ang ignorante ko? Hahah pasensya na. Anyway, ngayon alam ko na kung bakit. I realized there's something unique about the place. That it reveals a story. A story that binds the culture, tradition and way of life of the Filipino people. It's not just a place now.That's my second realization. As years passed, I suppose it's now more of as the country's identity. The country's trademark.
Nakakalunggkot mang sabihin pero...pramis, first time ko sa manila zoo. Pero nakapunta na ko sa Zoo. Yung sa Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Park ba yun. Di ko na maalala masyado. Going back, Hahahah ang laki laki niya. Kaso medyo konti na lang din yung mga andun. Tapos yung iba, it's either tulog or camera-shy. Hahaha Nevertheless, super nag enjoy din ako. Ang cute nilang lahat although medyo hindi maganda yung amoy dun na-appreciate ko pa rin yung ganda nung zoo at lahat ng naninirahan dun. Ang cute nung Lion <3 Ang sarap i-hug parang giant stuffed toy lang. Hahaha pero dahil late na rin kami nakarating dun, saglitan lang din ang pag i-ikot. Pero hindi nabawasan yung saya ko the whole time. Super positive vibes lang. Akala ko nga konti lang tao eh, marami rami rin pala :) Maganda kasi talaga. Napaka-classic nung papasyal kayo sa zoo with your fam. Yung simplicity nung place pag ni-combine natin with joy, mas nagiging genuine yung bonding. Iba yung feeling. :)
