I was thinking about writing down some day to day life stuff, almost like journal of sorts and accompanying them with some little scribbles or gifs I make. I really enjoyed the 365 art challenge when I did it, and I think I'd like to start up something more regular here again! Either with silly doodles, scribbles, or blurbs from my day, both for my own sake and to let you all see what this random person is up to. If everything goes according to plan, I'll look back on this in 5 years with a mix of second-hand embarassment and appreciation!

But for now, it sounds like a fun, neat way to get creating a bit more regularly again and like a good thing to take my mind off other stuff. Nothing's set in stone, but I figure the format will be something like this...

Monday, October 8th, 2018

I woke up to the sound of rain today around 8am after getting only a few hours of sleep. It was a pleasant sound and it ended up continuing throughout the morning as I got ready, but I was exhausted, and thankfully my commute to work was pretty uneventful along with the 8 hour day that followed. I had a single small coffee during that time, and when I got home, I took some time to work on a small game project. I fiddled with some of the layout and theme of the menus, fixed a few silly bugs with buttons, and all in all, ended up with a fun visual or two, one of which I've attached!

Around 9pm I tried to actually cook something. Small burn on my hand aside, it went smoothly and tasted good, giving me enough energy to put off writing this until about 11:50 or so. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a few more things to write about, or I'll have something to go into detail about!

Today was super packed and went by fast! I spent the afternoon fueled by coffee and sorting through old stuff, managing yo get a good bit of cleaning underway! I even managed to grab dinner with my dad after, and caught up on work and life - one of the highlights was the sunset peeking through the clouds after a few days of rain, painting warm shadows across the previously grey sky.

While today was nice, I'm hoping that tomorrow won't be as jam-packed with small activities and that I'll get to carve out some time for personal projects when I get home around 6 or 7!
