if you had to die today, would you call your friends up  or grab your keys, a couple cigarettes, forget the lighter and leave home?

 I held three snakes at work today. my new best friend is the little guy who loves my treebranch arms and cozy nest jacket pocket.

if not for hardship, we might not have learned to live. if not for fire, we might not have felt the meaning of warmth. if not for broken bones, or broken dreams, or broken hearts we might not have been human.
