have some RELENTLESS SCREAMING from the 367 collins falcons gang

they will fledge soon!

367 Collins peregrine falcon nest cam compilation from twitter, look how much they've grown! (er, those last two images are just of mom, as you can see by the non-brown plumage on her chest)

They'll be working on their flapping muscles soon as they lose the last of their baby down. In a week or two, we will start to see some fledging!

there was a BIRD FIGHT!!!!

a male arrived, only for one of the eyasses to attack him! mom arrived, they bowed to each other the way male and female adults do, male left, mom left shortly after, lots of agitated noises

I'm thinking the male was an intruder

here are all the eyasses hanging out peacefully about an hour later

one eyas spotted self-feeding! ...proceeded to leave the rest of the bird in the gutter. damn kids

considering the size and color, I am guessing the victim was a cockatoo. wild, of course, since this is australia
