short bio: Brains and beauty, Virginia Potts was always underestimated; everyone has always seen the pretty face, a model whose photo was everywhere, most people didn't know she had always earned his degree in accounting. She needed challenge in her life and not just standing around taking photos and smiling. She left her modeling career and entered the corporate world. Her early career saw her hired to work as the administrative assistant to Doctor Aldrich Killian, the founder and CEO of Advanced Idea Mechanics. She wanted to prove herself, however, at every turn Killian would flirt and make passes at her, she eventually quit and sought other employment.

Virginia would accept a position at Stark Industries and began working in the finance department, running numbers on projections for the company's future. It was in one such report she discovered an error and reported it to her supervisor, who immediately dismissed her. However, Virginia knew something was wrong and continued to bring her concerns up and was actually fired the day she stormed up to the CEO, Tony Stark's, office and confronted him with her findings and held them up inside his office declaring she had pepper spray in her purse and refused to leave unless he listened. That was how she got the nickname 'Pepper' and offered the executive assistant job.

Since then, Pepper has dealt with ALOT in her job, including thinking her boss was killed and finding him come back to life, discovering his secret as Iron Man, and dealing with the fall out when a year ago Tony declared to the world who his alter ego was. Now, with the Avengers Intiative and Shield taking a lot of Tony Stark/Iron Man's time, Pepper is filling the void of the CEO and attending meetings when her boss can't, including making deicsions for the best interest of the company.
