MY TOP FILM SELECTION 39TH DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2018
The Durban International Film Festival is once again gracing our warm sunny Winter shores.
The official selection is definitely scaled down this year with the Festival still in a state of managerial transition.
Both local and visiting cinephiles can still enjoy some wonderful cinematic offerings with the bonus being that less films equals more screenings and a far more relaxed film schedule.
Below are my top 10 Feature Films and 5 Documentary Films selection in no particular order. I personally can’t wait to see this unmissable array of local and international DIFF films. Choices include the weird and the wonderful, indie art and affecting, Goddess empowered with a smattering of Queer films for the discerning cinephile.
The weathers warm, the beaches are great and the celluloid is hot. Get out there, get involved and become inspired!
Durban does DIFF. See you in the cinema.
