Trying to put all my Typism practice pieces together in one place, I forget how many of them there are. (I've still got one sketch to be digitally finished, but the ipad sadly needs battery charge, and then it's one last style to try/practice)

This was my first year participating in Inktober (though is it still a true Inktober series if it’s 100% digital instead of actual ink?), and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve never attempted to finish a piece a day like this before, but I found it to be kind of a liberating element to add to my workflow. All of a sudden, nothing had to be perfect, I just had to get them done.

Fun Fact: These two pages were made over a year apart from each other. (The one of the right was finished first; the left was done about a week ago.)

I can look around my office & point out projects in the double digits that I started forever ago & never finished. I try not to beat myself up over it. I work at my own disjointed, slightly unpredictable pace, but I don’t think I could ever stop creating altogether.
